Combining advanced granular pitch shifting and a renowned reverb algorithm, DARKNESS offers everything from subtle reflections to vast, shimmering reverbs.

Features:

• Granular pitch shifter followed by lush, Typhon-style reverb
  
• Up to 30 seconds of decay with modulation (Triangle or Sample & Hold)

Main Controls:

1. SPREAD - Sets the physical size/width of the reverb.
2. MIX - Controls the wet/dry balance, adjustable up to 100% full wet signal.
3. DECAY - Adjusts the length of the reverb tail from short reflections to infinite self-oscillation.
4. CONTROL - Adjusts variable parameters depending on the active mode switch position.
5. MODE Toggle switch - Toggles between Mode 1 and Mode 2, shifting the core functionality of the CONTROL knob and secondary parameters.

• In Mode 1: Sets the pitch interval of the shimmer (±12 semitones, where 12 o'clock is no pitch shift).
  
• In Mode 2: Sets the volume/mix level of the pitch-shifted shimmer effect.
  

Secondary Controls: 
That you can access while holding the ON footswitch down.

1. SPREAD - No Function.
2. MIX = Reverb filter - Left for Low Pass Right for High Pass.
3. DECAY = LFO depth - No LFO at 50%. Left for Sample and Hold, Right for Triangle.
4. CONTROL = LFO rate - The LFO always targets the Spread.
5. MODE Toggle switch - Tails On/Off. Left is Off. Having the tails On, will allow the Reverb Tail to be audible, even if the effect is turned OFF via the Left footswitch.

Gate Controls:
Which you can access while holding the HOLD footwitch down.

1. SPREAD - No Function
2. MIX = Threshold - Controls the ease that the gate closes
3. DECAY = Attack time - After the gate opens, controls the time it will take for the effect to reach the max programmed volume
4. CONTROL = Release time - After the gate closes, controls the time it will take for the effect close
5. MODE Toggle switch - Gate On/Off. Left is Off. Having the Gate Off, the knobs will have no effect.
