Trickfish Minnow

The Minnow is a high quality, low noise bass preamp DI pedal equipped with our Bullhead EQ section. This single channel Bullhead preamp features shelving EQ’s for the BASS and TREBLE controls and variable band pass EQ’s for the LO MID and HI MID. A selectable mid frequency for both LO MID and HI MID controls provide complete control over the midrange. We’ve also added HI SHIFT to the treble frequency to further tune the cut/boost capability of the treble control. In addition, the Minnow preamp includes a tuner out for silent tuning and a balanced XLR output for use as a DI, great for both live and studio use.

Features:

• Bullhead Preamp Core: Powered by the signature, low-noise solid-state analog preamp circuit found in Trickfish's touring amp heads.
  
• 4-Band Precision EQ: Provides +/-12dB of boost/cut with a flexible Hi Shift switch (toggles Treble between 4kHz and 8kHz) and selectable mid-frequency points. 
  
• Dual-Footswitch Layout: Includes independent Mute (for silent tuning) and EQ On/Off switches to cleanly bypass your tone sculpt.
  
• Pro-Grade Studio DI: Features a 600-Ohm Balanced XLR DI out with a Pre/Post EQ toggle and Ground Lift switch.
  
• Smart Outputs: Equipped with an always-active 1/4" Tuner Output alongside standard 1/4" Instrument and Amp outputs.
  
• Visual Gain Metering: Employs a green/red LED traffic light system to monitor input levels and prevent digital clipping.

Controls:

1. GROUND/LIFT - Ground lift dedicated to DIRECT OUT
2. PRE/POST - Switches between a Pre EQ or Post EQ send
3. GAIN - Input level adjust, green LED indicates signal and red LED indicates a clip
4. LO MID freq - Selects the frequency for the LO MID bandpass EQ
5. BASS - Center is flat. Counter clockwise cuts, clockwise rotation boosts
6. LO MID - Center is flat. Counter clockwise cuts, clockwise rotation boosts
7. MASTER - Controls the overall output volume
8. HI MID freq - Selects the frequency for the HI MID bandpass EQ
9. TREBLE - Center is flat. Counter clockwise cuts, clockwise rotation boosts
10. HI SHIFT - Treble frequency shelving shift button, Out is low (4kHz), In is high (8kHz)
11. HI MID - Center is flat. Counter clockwise cuts, clockwise rotation boosts
