Dreadbox KINEMATIC – Analog Compressor / Filter
A VCA-based compressor & envelope filter designed for fretted instruments, synthesizers and Drum machines with Eurorack compatibility for modular setups. Shaping it with dynamic compression and fluid envelope filtering.

Features:

• Full analog compression with extreme ratio & +18dB level boost
  
• Envelope filter with a low-pass filter and slow envelope curve
  
• Band boost filter for enhanced tonal shaping
  
• Post-diode overdrive for added warmth and grit
  
• 3 patch points for modular integration

Controls:

1. FILTER - Controls the frequency behavior based on the active mode.

• In Comp Color mode: Acts as a low-mid frequency boost.
  
• In Env Filter mode: Acts as a standard 12dB Low-Pass Filter cutoff control.

2. DRIVE - Sets the amount of post-diode overdrive circuit gain, moving from light saturation to heavy fuzz distortion.
3. ENVELOPE - Controls the internal envelope tracking behavior.

• In Comp Color mode: Adjusts the VCA compression ratio factor.
  
• In Env Filter mode: Adjusts the sensitivity of the auto-wah effect.

4. LEVEL - Sets the master output volume, capable of providing up to a +18dB clean level boost.
5. MODE Toggle - Switches the internal routing between the pedal's two distinct personalities

• COMP COLOUR: Engages the VCA compressor and frequency booster, ideal for adding sustain, thick overdrive, or a "cocked-wah" tone texture.
  
• ENV FILTER: Disengages the heavy compressor and converts the unit into a classic dynamic auto-wah machine.
