We’re proud to introduce the Fodera x Trickfish Preamp & Practice Amp. This collaboration started with one simple question: how can we give players that Fodera tone and feel anywhere — and with ANY bass?  We wanted a solution that sounds incredible plugged into your favorite amp, but also works beautifully for silent practice, recording, or travel and with any bass you choose.  We took the clean, musical preamp circuitry that Trickfish is known for, and paired it with tone shaping inspired by Fodera’s handmade instruments.  So you get that warm, articulate response Fodera players love — and the studio-grade clarity Trickfish is known for — all in one small box.

It’s got everything you need: headphone out, aux in for play-alongs, DI out for recording, and a 4-band EQ that feels musical. Plus the added ability to switch between 2, 3 and 4 band to make on the fly adjustments quickly— whether you’re practicing late at night or tracking a bass line at home.

We designed this for players who want inspiration on tap — anywhere and with any bass. We’re really proud of this collaboration. It represents the best of both our worlds — the artistry of Fodera and the engineering of Trickfish.

• Scalable 4-Band EQ: Offers a highly musical active EQ that can be switched to run in 2-band, 3-band, or 4-band configurations.
  
• Midrange Shift: Features a dedicated Mid Shift toggle to instantly sweep and sculpt your midrange focus.
  
• Integrated Practice Hub: Equipped with a 1/8" Headphone Out and Aux In for playing along with backing tracks or metronomes.
  
• Pro-Grade Balanced DI: Includes a low-impedance XLR output with a Pre/Post EQ switch and ground lift for pristine live and studio routing.
  
• Smart Footswitching: Utilizes a main footswitch that can be internally configured to act as a total system Mute or an EQ bypass.
  
• Wide Voltage Range: Powers via a standard 9V battery or any external 9V to 18V center-negative DC power supply for increased headroom.
