Bridging the Pedalboard-Plugin Gap!
The Electro-Harmonix Effects Interface Hardware Plugin® is a first-of-its-kind piece of equipment purpose-built for making use of pedals and other physical guitar equipment with your DAW easy and seamless. Additionally, the Effects Interface breaks your favorite plugins out of your computer for use in your full guitar rig. No need for special converters or direct boxes, the Effects Interface handles your signal and delivers it with care between your hardware and software via a simple USB-C connection.
The Effects Interface Hardware Plugin operates in 3 distinct modes: Hardware Plugin Mode, Pedalboard Mode, and Audio Interface Mode.
In Hardware Plugin Mode, you can send your tracks through any of your gear for that familiar and tactile feel of your favorite effects. Run vocals through your favorite analog delay pedal, horns through a wah pedal, or even warm up your MIDI tracks with a preamp pedal. Simply use the Effects Interface Plugin in your DAW like any other plugin and your signal is routed through the send and return on the inputs and outputs on the unit via its USB-C connection.
Pedalboard Mode lets you run your guitar through any of your favorite plugins from your DAW and run them back into your signal chain for full hybrid rig integration. Is your favorite preamp found in a popular plugin? Easily play it through a live amp with Pedalboard mode. Does your favorite effect only exist as plugin? Well now it’s a pedal you can physically put on your board!
The Electro-Harmonix Effects Interface Hardware Plugin knocks down the walls between physical and plugin effects, effortlessly turning your pedals into outboard gear and your plugins into pedals mounted to your pedalboard, all with a simple USB connection.
