HEAVY WATER MKII is a creation designed to meet the requests we were receiving to release the Boost side of the DANE as a standalone pedal. So not one to disappoint, we went ahead and did just that….but in typical Thorpy fashion it went one step further. Therefore, HEAVY WATER has two sides in one of the smaller sized enclosures – the same high headroom super clean boost from the DANE pedal on the right. On the left we tweaked the boost to provide more volume but with a grittier/dirtier character from the Germanium diodes lurking within. The pedal is designed so that each side can be used independently but they can also be combined to absolutely smash the front end of a valve amp into submission. Subtle, heavy or mental the options within the two sides will astonish.

Controls:

• LEFT FOOTSWITCH: This turns the Heavier Clipping voiced boost side on/off.
  
• RIGHT FOOTSWITCH: This turns the “DANE” style boost side on/off.
  
• LHS BOOST: This control gives allows you massive amounts of control, add grittier clean boost to your signal, use it on its own or with the RHS boost it can really make the pedal sing with complex harmonics and layered overdrive.
  
• LHS LOWS: This control gives allows you the ability to add low end to the boost side of the pedal. The amount of low end on tap is fantastic for fattening up even the spankiest strat bridge pickup.
  
• RHS BOOST: This control gives allows you massive amounts of control to add high headroom clean boost to your signal, use it on its own or when stacked into the LH boost it can really make the pedal sing with complex harmonics and layered overdrive.
  
• RHS LOWS: This control gives allows you the power to add low end to the boost side of the pedal. Again, loads of low-end on tap.
