6-voice Analog Synthesizer
Artemis is a six-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer that combines classic analog synthesis with digital effects. Leveraging Dreadbox acclaimed analog circuitry, it incorporates quality stereo effects developed by Sinevibes, delivering a dynamic and versatile sonic experience.
Back in ancient times, Artemis was the goddess of the hunt and the wild, her silver bow always at the ready. Her arrows, swift and precise, never missed their mark. Though known for her mercy and justice, she was fiercely protective of the wilderness she called home.
Mortals respected Artemis; those who honoured nature could seek her aid, while those who disrespected it faced swift retribution.
Even now, Artemis is said to roam the forests under the moon’s silver light, her nymphs following close behind. Those who tread the wild lands with care may catch a glimpse of her silhouette—bow in hand, gliding silently through the woods.

Controls:
Oscillator Section (VCO)
- VCO 1 & VCO 2 Wave Knobs: Continuous wave-shaping controls that morph smoothly across analog shapes (Triangle, Sawtooth, and Square).
- VCO 1 Detune Slider: Adjusts the fine frequency offset of the first oscillator relative to the second for chorus and unison detuning.
- VCO 2 Pitch Knob: Sets the coarse tuning interval of the second oscillator.
- Sub Slider: Controls the volume level of a sub-oscillator pitched below the root note to reinforce the low end.
- Noise Slider: Determines the injection level of the white noise generator.
- PWM Knob: Adjusts the duty cycle width for the pulse/square waves.
- X-MOD Knob: Controls the depth of the exponential Frequency Modulation (FM) passing between the oscillators.
Filter Section (VCF)
- Cutoff Knob: Manually sets the turnover point for the low-pass resonant analog filter.
- Resonance Knob: Sharpens the low-pass frequency peak, capable of self-oscillation at maximum settings.
- HPF Cutoff Slider: Controls the cutoff point of a completely independent, dedicated resonant high-pass filter running in series.
- HPF Res Slider: Manually controls the high-pass circuit's feedback resonance peak.
- Filter Drive Slider: Instigates pre-filter clipping and analog saturation for aggressive overdriven timbres.
- VCF EG Amount Knob: Attenuates how heavily the envelope generator dynamically sweeps the filter cutoff frequency.
- Filter FM Knob: Mandates audio-rate filter modulation sourced directly from VCO 2 or the noise generator.
Envelope & Modulation Section
- Envelope Select Buttons: Shifts the operational focus of the four onboard physical sliders to edit either the Filter Envelope or the Amplifier (VCA) Envelope.
- Attack / Decay / Sustain / Release Sliders: Direct physical layout used to program the time and level curves for the active envelope layer.
- LFO Rate & Depth Knobs: Commands the cycle rate and tracking depth for the multi-mode polyphonic LFOs.
Master & Performance Utilities
- Spread Slider: Controls the stereo field voice panning and broadens the imagery of the internal effects engines.
- Master Level Knob: Determines the total analog master output volume heading to the line and headphone outputs.
- FX Control Module: Dedicated selector buttons and parameter sliders dedicated to tweaking the four serial stereo digital effects blocks.
- OLED Encoder / Navigation Panel: Coordinates preset catalog browsing, system utilities, and configuration profiles for the digital modulation matrix.
- Sequencer Transport Buttons: Direct physical keys (Play, Stop, Rec) to initiate or program the built-in polyphonic sequencer and arpeggiator patterns.
